* The welding operation is simple, does not require filling of welding materials, is easy, can realize automatic control, and has high productivity.
* The equipment is simple (it can be modified with a lathe) and the power consumption is low (only 1/15~1/10 of flash butt welding). However, it requires sensitive control of the braking and pressurizing devices.
