Summary

The foil winding machines of the  series are designed to wind low voltage coils with high winding tensions. Leadouts are connected in the cold press welding unit under full winding tension. With this machine round, oval or rectangular coils can be produced efficiently and with constant high quality. Tuboly-Astronic foil winding machines can process copper and aluminum foils.

Our winding software is running on an industrial PC with Windows. The winding system pre-calculates and executes all necessary stop points. All programmed stop points are precisely approached and the upcoming process step is displayed on the touch screen. Due to our flexible and
modular winding system a coil can be easily programmed either on the machine or in our office version on a desk computer.

The machine can be equipped with one or two foil decoilers. Each decoiler is equipped with its own regulated brake system for a constant foil tension. A separate foil edge control system is installed for each foil.
